SharePoint 1, 2, 3!

SharePoint 1, 2, 3! was the very first production from the Free Training 1, 2, 3 team. In our inaugural run, we presented an indepth look at Windows SharePoint Services to a combined total of two hundred and twenty four people. We started out at a high level, examining what SharePoint is and how it can be used to help an organization. We ended deep in the SharePoint object model with complex interconnected SharePoint webparts. The signature of a Free Training 1, 2, 3 event is the Hands on Labs which follow the presentations. Nearly a quarter of our attendees were able to experience the Hands on Labs in an instructor lead training session where the average attendee/instructor ratio was 5 to 1. This event was a huge success and has been in high demand ever since it's debut.

To experience SharePoint 1, 2, 3! yourself, ask your local INETA user group to present the content, freely available to user groups and individuals on the Atlanta Microsoft Professionals website .

ASP.NET 1,2,3!

The next training session the Free Training 1, 2, 3! team will bring you is ASP.NET 1, 2, 3!. In this session we will examine the challanges of building your own web portal from scratch using Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, and ASP.Net 2.0. We'll begin with a high level look at "buy" (DotNetNuke and SharePoint) versus build when it comes to web portal technology. We'll end with a completely functional portal website complete with custom membership roles, mass e-mailing capabilities, and easily maintainable content creation mechanisms. The first run of the ASP.Net 1, 2, 3! presentation and Hands on Labs is currently scheduled for February 2007 in Atlanta.
